So as my third week of working here in the law firm closes to an end, a new discovery is made. It turns out I'm actually suposed to work 1-6:30, not 1-6.
had some similar enlightenment about A&E- sort of- having heard ppl last year who worked 9:30-4:30 and took an hour for lunch criticised, I assumed that 9-5 was the target range, with a half hr lunch break. (finished 7:30, 9:30, 5:30 the 1st week all the same). This week have been told that as most other staff work 5 ten hour shifts in a week they generally are happier if you do the same. Still not really sure what they're supposed to be or what I'll be paid for doing! but did 8:30-6:30 today and not too tired.
